The Mac keychain

The keychain stores all your passwords securely. If you forgot your password for a web site or some app, open the Keychain Utility (in the Utilities folder) and search for the site. Double click the most recent and relevant item found and tick the box to show the password.

You will now be asked for your computer password - the one use use to login at work. Enter it and press Allow. You should now see your lost password.
